Last night Royce and I met Dain down on the National Mall for the first Screen on the Green of the year. Royce and I have been trying to make it down for this since we moved here, but it always seems that he is working the night shifts on Monday’s during the month this is going on. Last night was Dr. No, the first James Bond movie made. I hadn’t seen it, but it sure was entertaining to watch it on the grounds with the Capitol in the background along with a very lively crowd that made the experience even more memorable. Before the movie we had ourselves a hearty picnic, a few “concealed” drinks, and even tossed the frisbee around.
It’s times like this where I sit back and think now this is why we pay so much to live here and at that moment it seems to be worth every penny.
